Maricar Boyle
Maricar Boyle is a Senior Associate Director of Philanthropy for The Nature Conservancy (TNC), the world’s largest conservation non-profit, where she manages U.S.-based giving that supports environmental projects affecting millions of people in the Asia Pacific region. These projects include managing forest and marine protected areas in Indonesia, protecting grasslands in Mongolia, supporting community-based and women-led conservation in Solomon Islands, and Papua New Guinea, and working with indigenous communities to address climate change in Australia and New Zealand.
A native of the Philippines, Maricar has two decades’ experience as a fundraising strategist for both institutional and high-net-worth individual donors. Prior to her current role, she held senior development positions at TNC’s California Chapter, the University of California-San Francisco (UCSF) Benioff Children’s Hospital, the UCSF School of Pharmacy, and the Alameda Health System Foundation. A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Maricar holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the Philippine Women’s University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco.
