The Kilimanjaro Project - Tanzania
I started my career in hospitality at a young age where I quickly realized, I love serving and helping people – and working with a multitude of people from all cultures and backgrounds. Immediately after my first degree, I started as a Deputy General Manager in a prestigious hotel in the UK, managing multiple dynamic teams. After years as a manger in the hospitality industry, I wanted to return to my original passion: sustainable development.
Through a lifetime of travels, I always felt drawn to people and nature. I always wanted to find ways for humanity, wildlife and a biodiverse nature to live in harmony. Following a master’s degree, I worked in varying different short term environment and conservation roles and consultancies to eventually land full time in Tanzania last February. Being able to create green, sustainable, jobs (especially for women!) is a dream come through for me.
I believe our networks and the people we connect with, are the key for great achievements. And women working together is the most sustainable way forward, so I am looking very much forward to starting with the Women’s Leadership Circle, learning and sharing with amazing women.
