My name is Natacha Umutoni, I am a young professional in Rwanda I am the founder of Green Roots Initiative, a program dedicated to providing environmental solutions by educating and guiding young children on environmental preservation, recycling, and road safety regulations. We also support women especially those in rural areas to learn and create solutions about climate change. For the past six years, I have worked as an IT Project Manager at Brain Works Group, Ltd., a company established in 1993 that focuses on using technology to develop environmental solutions, build secure social infrastructure, and promote global growth. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and a certicate in ICT Engineering Development from the Kobe Institute of Computing. With seven years of experience in database management, software architecture, IT project coordination, and event management, I bring a diverse skill set to my projects. In 2021, I served as Vice President of Junior Chamber International (JCI) Rwanda, a global leadership development organization. This role significantly enhanced my leadership and collaboration abilities, fueling my commitment to fostering positive change through technology and sustainability. I am fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and Swahili.
