Liliane Léonie Nadia Nhiomog

Responsable du leadership en matière de genre et de conservation à BEDD

Nhiomog Liliane Léonie Nadia is a young woman of Cameroonian origin, aged 40. She holds a degree in Water and Forest Engineering and a Master's degree in the Management and Conservation of species subject to international trade. She specializes in wildlife crime issues and human-wildlife conflict management. Passionate about the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources, she was a trainer for around 10 years at the school for the training of wildlife specialists in Garoua in Cameroon where she ensured capacity building for staff from the Ministries of Water and Forests in Africa in the management of wildlife and protected areas. Currently, Head of the Hunting Department at the Ministry of Forests and Wildlife of Cameroon, she ensures the sustainable management of sport hunting and the capacity building of law enforcement officers in the fight against wildlife crime. A member of several conservation NGOs including Biodiversity-Environment and Sustainable Development (BEDD), she is responsible for leadership in gender and conservation and ensures the development and implementation of gender-sensitive policies and practices within the organization.
