Kijani Forestry - Uganda

My name is Katie Dowhaniuk and I am the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning for Kijani Forestry, based in Gulu, Uganda. I joined the women's leadership circle because I want to connect with likeminded women in this space, to learn from them and grow as a community. I am seeking mentorship and companionship from other women as we navigate this male-dominated space. I studied gender roles in the agroforestry value chain for my Masters at the University of Florida, and hope to learn what resources and approaches others are using to include gender in this work.
