I am a dynamic results-oriented urban and rural development professional with backup post-graduate professional training in business administration, business leadership, project planning, and management and GIS-supported environmental analysis. An effective negotiator with excellent people management, coaching, and mentoring skills with the ability to train and motivate cross-functional teams in optimizing their abilities in team, partner, supplier/customer performance, and relationship management. Have 30 years of experience in project cycle management, development of logical frameworks, evaluation of project proposals, implementing and managing integrated development projects, and humanitarian programs in two Southern African countries (Malawi and Zimbabwe). In summary, I have hands-on experience in developing and managing community development programs and grant management covering the following thematic areas Early Childhood Development, sustainable farming and natural resources management, climatic justice, food security, agroforestry, post-harvest management, integrated rural water supply and sanitation, dams, and irrigation, livestock, and veld management et al), disaster mitigation planning and management of humanitarian (school supplementary, general relief, drought recovery) programs. I have solid strategic leadership experience in resilience building, promoting rights-based design, and STAR (Specific, Task, Action, and Result) approaches in designing, developing, implementing, and managing sustainable development programs. Wide experience in developing impact indicators for monitoring, evaluation, and operational auditing.
