Bronwen Butler
Bronwen Butler is a strategy-minded leader, storyteller and speaker. A deeply curious communications professional and self-confessed word nerd, she’s currently senior strategist for storytelling within The Nature Conservancy’s Global Donor Relations department. In this role, she leads creative strategy for the organization’s global fundraising campaign and drives inclusive donor relations and storytelling strategies to strengthen TNC’s collective ability to build and share compelling, inclusive stories about its global conservation work. For three years, Bronwen has developed and led Building a Better Story, a two-hour workshop focused on inclusive storytelling and values-aligned communication.
A successful speechwriter, ghostwriter and long-term freelancer, she’s been with TNC since August 2011, and has put fingers to keyboard (and actual pen to literal paper) for more than 20 years, producing creative, persuasive, engaging content across myriad mediums and audiences.
Bronwen is based near Austin, Texas, and spends much of her free time photographing her two geriatric chihuahuas typically found napping around her home. She’s an active chaos gardener, a born-again birder and has a deep affinity for alliteration, history, Korean dramas and pie.
