Jenny Fabiola de la Hoz
Jenny de la Hoz is Vice President of Education at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. She leads a group of brilliant professionals in nurturing and growing the next generation of ocean conservationists through hands-on programs and professional development for their educators. While earning her PhD in science education from Oregon State University, she was introduced to the social environmental justice movement and discovered how to combine her lived- experiences as an immigrant with her passion for ocean science. She is fortunate to continue this work with colleagues who share this passion and with youth who are eager to create positive change in this world. When she is not changing the face of ocean conservation, she enjoys listening to books, catching up on her YouTube ‘Watch Later’ list, and napping.
