Hank Cauley

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nature for Justice

Hank Cauley is a co-founder of Nature For Justice and currently serves as its CEO.  Hank has a long history of spanning the boundaries between business, the environment, and social justice.  Early in his career he had the good-fortune of spending nearly four years in Somalia working in the refugee camps on fuel conserving cookstoves and water-pumping windmills.  That experience led to his decision to get an MBA and to work for and with businesses to drive social and environmental change.  On the non-profit side, he has been the President of the Forest Stewardship Council in the USA and held various leadership positions at other NGOs.  His passion is to start new nonprofits, businesses, and programs that help people where they are.  In addition to his MBA, he has a BS and MS in Chemical Engineering.  He’s been an avid beekeeper for over 25 years and currently has six hives at his house in Northern Virginia.
