Anne Marie Schouw

Board Secretary

Anne serves as the Chief Development Officer for Rare. Prior to that, she held the CDO position for the ONE Campaign leading the evolution, implementation, and delivery of ONE’s resource mobilization strategy. Anne brings more than 25 years of experience in philanthropy across various organizational settings and missions. She has worked at the World Wildlife Fund, American Red Cross, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, London Business School and Conservation International. Anne has extensive experience fundraising with supporters in Africa, Latin America and Europe.

Anne has served on the board of Dress for Success, on the board of governors at London Business School and as the conference co-chair for the Council and Support of Education District Conference. She is currently the Board Secretary at Planet Women.

She earned her BA in international affairs and Russian studies from James Madison University and an MS in management consulting and organizational change from the University of London. Anne is based in Washington, D.C., and is a passionate global traveler.
